1:00 PM Wasatch Food Co-op: 
Join Phoebe, Angela, and Fabian to learn how the Wasatch Food Co-op came to be and about the environmental, economic, and ethical principles that guide its operations.

 

2:00 PM Utah AIDS Foundation Legacy Health
Joseph McCormack will present HealthSexual:  An overview of HIV protective measures to promote sexual health:

    • Recognize how sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are passed from person to person, and ways to be proactive about sexual health

    • Understand that getting tested for HIV or other STIs is an essential part of sexual health

    • Find out ways to talk about sexual health with a partner/partners as well as a healthcare provider
       

3:00 PM Utah Film Center Queer Film Series Screening. 

Utah Film Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of the moving image through film exhibition, media arts education, and artist support to connect with communities around Utah. Our programs are designed to raise critical awareness, build empathy, and nurture artistic expression, all while establishing a local, thriving Utah-based filmmaking ecosystem.

4:00 pm American Civil Liberties Union's Alison Griffith will present Your Vote Is Your Power: Advancing Civil Rights and Liberties in the Queer Community

The ACLU of Utah envisions a state where all persons enjoy the civil rights and liberties promised in the United States and Utah Constitutions and laws. Join ACLU of Utah staff in a panel discussion and Q&A on the cases and campaigns currently underway at the intersection of voting, trans, immigrant, and First Amendment rights.

5:00 PM Dani Durrant will present on the Fair Housing Act. 

A brief guide to the Fair Housing Act and what housing discrimination might look like, how it can affect you as a minority homeowner or renter, and resources to help educate and protect yourself. An educated populace is a dangerous populace 

 

6:00 pm Leather Pride/Black Boots.

Max Garrett will present on "Kinky Consent: A practical guide to playing safe and having a great time."

 

7 pm--Queer and Sober SLC 
TenAce Moser will present on recovery-related topics relevant to our queer community.

 

8 pm--Kat Kellermeyer and Hillary McDaniel will present Protest After Reading:  A 101 on historical movements, community-centered organizing, and how to plan a protest or event.

SUNDAY Schedule

12:00 PM YWCA Keldon Joyner and Sidney Andrews will present on Pride and Protection: A Conversation Our Community Deserves

Pride and Protection is a community conversation hosted by YWCA Utah exploring love, safety, and the specific ways domestic violence shows up in queer relationships. Join us for an open, affirming discussion led by queer voices, with space for honest conversation, community connection, and local resources. This is a space for all of us.

2 pm  Greenwave Utah 

Ashleigh Totten will present on Consent Fundamentals with Greenwave Utah.

This workshop will provide a safe space to talk about your experience learning about consent and sex education and ask questions. We'll cover the basics of consent, discuss some examples and talk through different methods of contraception. Everyone deserves to feel safe and be informed when exploring what pleasure means to them!
